This was the most beautifully intense, love filled ceremony I have ever experienced. There was not a dry eye in the room, including my own. David and Glen are totally in love and have been waiting for this day for a long time. They chose to celebrate with 16 of their closest family and friends. It was beautiful. It was intimate. It was intense. It was amazing.
Meet my new friend Ella. Isn't she beautiful? She was a perfect little model, sleeping throughout the session :) Again, I can't say this enough. I am so thankful to be doing what I love. Through my photography I am able to enter so many little worlds and hear so many different stories. Thank you Shar and Darran for sharing your story with me, and choosing me to capture your beautiful family. Check out Ella's big smile in the last frame!
We first saw Liz + Ryan invading a public library for their engagement shoot a while back. Here are a few snaps from their beautiful wedding. There was a real sense of community and family togetherness at their wedding. It was a joy to shoot. Liz + Ryan we wish you all the best! So glad we had the chance to capture your special day.
I'm caught up on my blogging officially after this post! (possibly). I love my couples too much not to blog their photos.
When I met up with Sarah and Nathan for a final meeting before their wedding Sarah couldn't decide where to take their photos after the ceremony. The big question - what if it rains? Sarah risked it and went for Edward Gardens. I am so happy she did. Sarah and Nathan, thank you for allowing us to share your love story. You helped to end our season on a high note.
I pretty much always end up be-facebook friending my couples. They add me, or I add them. This allows me to get a little more insight on their lives. Don't worry, I don't stalk my couples....only if they entertain me. Paul and Kate, entertain me. Paul has the best status updates. I don't know where I'm going with this (its 12:20am and I'm tired), but they get Vicky's stamp of approval! Anyone who makes me laugh gets a big stamp of approval. Paul and Kate make me laugh.
Below are a few of my favourites from the day! Mother Nature sure dressed nice for their wedding.
